Aβ the result of the Presbyterian General Assembly's resolutions strongly approving of the League of Nations and initiation of action among churches, a meeting was held yesterday of representatives of all churches in New Zealand, including the Catholic Church. Dr. Oibb, who presided, read a letter from Archbishop (VShea, stating that the object would have the whole-hearted sympathy and support of Catholics.

Bishop frprott wrote that in a movement eminently Christian there was room for some specific action on the part of the churches.

The meeting , resolved to issue a statement supporting the League of Nations, and giving expression to the ever deepening conviction of Christian people that there must be no more war.
