nrrEKEST in aucklasd. FLAGS AND GOODWILL. The -warships in port, H.M.B. Philomel and Veronica, and the mercantile shipping, were specially be-flagged yesterday afternoon and evening in honour of the great wedding in London. Many of the chief business firms, and the civic institutes and concerns also fte-w flags. , During the evening the Philomel 'displayed electric il limn nations -which sillhouetted the craft in dotted! lights from mast-head fco waterline. Prior to the opening of business at the annual meeting of the Chamber of Commerce a round of applause followed a reference by the retiring president, Mr. A. G. Limn, to the desire of the community that the Royal bride and her bridegroom should have rejoice in long life and happiness. The members of the Chamber followed up the expression of pood-will by singing the National Anthem.
