The "Chicago Tribune's" Athens correspondent states that the Allies' action destroys (.recce's foreign credit to such an. extent ns to have the effect of a blockade. Ex-King Constantine telegraphed to the Royal family acknowledging receipt of a long message from M. Rail is. Premier, who explaining the situation, left the question of abdication to Constantine. The situation is very acute, and officials predict a compromise between M. Ycni-elos and Constantine. — (A. and N.Z. Cable.) SO PER CENT FOR EX-KING. AN UNEXPECTED MAJORITY. (Received 10.30 a.m.i ATHENS, December 7. In the plebiscite an unexpectedly great majority favoured Constantine. In only a few places were hostile votes cast. The results up to the present show 00 per cent for Constantine. Three Ycnizelist dailies have ceased publication. —(U.S.)
