The Dublin correspondent of the "Evening News" announces a combined breakaway of many Ulster ' Covenanters from Sir Edward Carson's policy. A representative deputation is going to Downing Street to interview Mr. Lloyd George and to inform him that a large proportion of Ulstennen are prepared to sink old prejudices against the tiouth and are advocating an immediate offcr'to Ireland of Dominion Home Rule, subject to Ireland remaining within the Empire. They willingly pledge themselves and their supporters to work for a united Ireland with one Parliament. This movo is regarded as a most important step towards peace in Ireland. It is the first time in history that Irishmen have agreed regarding the form of Government desired. —United Service.) SINN FEIN COURT RAIDED. LONDON, August' 13. A military party raided the Cork City Hall during the sitting of a Sinn Fein Court and arrested 11 persons, including the Lord Mayor of Cork, other justices, and the litigants.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
