WILUNG TO CONTEST PAISLEY. (Received 9.50 a.m.) LONDON, January 22. Mr. H. H. Asqtiith, formerly premier, has intimated that he would be willing to contest the Paisley seat at the byelection, -which has been rendered necessary by the death of Sir J. ML McCallum (Liberal), if the local Liberals invite him to do so.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
