RISINGS IN TURKEY.

FORCIBLE RECRUITING. CONSTANTINOPLE, August 24. The Turks' National Congress at Erzerum, headed by the outlawed general, Kernel Pasha, demands the preservation of Turkish integrity, and is plotting military organisation against the Allied mandates. - Kernel is adopting "press gong" methods, and is attempting forcibly to recruit townspeople. There nave been bloody street encounters, in which the outlawed troops have been worsted. The internal situation in Anatolia continues to be disquieting. It is reported that insurgent forces have entered Ouzak, on the Smyrna-Karahissar railway.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
