CAPTAIN NATHAN WELCOMED.
A warm welcome home was extended yesterday to Captain Louis M. Nathan, who returned front London by the Manuka, having voyaged by way of the United States and Sydney. Captain Nathan left- Auckland immediately after the outbreak of the war in order to offer his services to the Imperial Government. He was accepted upon enlistment, and sent to France with the ArmyService Corps. For four years he was on duty on the Western front, gaining his captaincy in the Imperial Forces. His return home was commemorated by the employees of the firm of A. H. Nathan and Co.. of which he a director, by the presentation of a valuable memento.. — i
