AUCKLAND STOCK EXCHANGE, Auckland Gas shares changed hands to-day at 28/3, and sales of HuddartParker Steam were made at 40/6 and 40/3, with buyerß left at the latter rate. Inquiry was made to-day for Takapuna Tram shares at 13/6, but no seller quoted. N.Z. Paper Mills could be placed at 21/, and buyers of Waihis advanced to 38/3.

WAIHI GOLD MIXING CO., LTD. Cabled advice has been received that the annual meeting will be held on 27th May, and that the gross profits for the year ended 31st December, l'Jl", were £104,000. Dividend and income tax have absorbed £148.000, depreciation £18,000, war funds £1000, leaving £62,000 to be carried forward.
