CRICKET.
THE CHAMPIONSHIPS. TEAMS FOR SATURDAY. The championship matches, under the auspices of the Auckland Cricket Association, will be advanced another stage tomorrow, Saturday, when the matches commenced last week will be •concluded. The three senior games are all In an interesting position, and the results should be close. Ponsonby have given North Shore 283 to make, the seasiders having lost one wicket for 17. Parnell have 72 on the board for the loss of three wickets in reply to Edeu's total of 185, while University are SO runs In arrears on the first innings against Grafton.
