If is doubtful if there will be any play at ail to-day. The North v. South match has been "abandoned. On the Dunedin groeu. Smith and Smith (Otago): North-East Velley Green: Hutchison and Foster (CaleSynlan), and McDonald nnd Sander* (Kaltuna): Mornlngton Green: Sleet and Bentley <Duuedin); Caledonian Green: Pitts and .fcickson (St. j Kllda), Hogg and Ilarraway (Dunedin), Spiers and Noble and St. Hilda Green: Ilcrton and Knox (Kdgware), yes- j terdav burned a great number of heads, In one case no fewer than 14 dead heads being played, the game occupying three and α-quurter hours. As a result of these tactics the time limit of two anil a-half hours has now been imposed.
