The ineetinp of the '.Maimgement Committee of the Auckland Urugby Leasue was held in the secretary's. oUlce r Shortland btreet, Inst evening.- The following members were present: ■ Messra "K. Benson (chairman), H--Tatton, T, Keildinß, J..,Cnrlaw, I. Kellowes, K. Pollock. R. A. Splnlcy/ C. Maker. R. McDonald and N. D. CuTpan. Hi'Slstretlous.— The Grafton, City Rovers, Otalnihu Rancors, North Shore " Alblons, and Newton Clubs submitted lists of players for registration. Future registrations must be made subject to the usual conditions, and must also be accompanied by the application forms to enable n proper reronl to be kept. (Overhead Club.—The committee approved of green as the playing colours of the Riverhead Club. It was arranged that the club ploy in town on alternate Saturdays. Captains of teams who are playing at Riverhead are reminded that they have to make their own launch arrangements. Transfers.—The following transfers were agreed Uv -on- tlie-repommend<n;ion -of-AlJo.. Junior Advisory Board •R.^BroWn," l Xlamikau to Sunnyslde: VT. Grupen and M. Urcnnuu. Mnnukuu to Richmond. M. Ellis, of Ponsonby, was advised to apply to his club for permission to transfer to City. Future transfers must be applied for on proper application forms supplied for the purpose. Protest Reversed.—The protest of the TeleKriipu Messercers' Club that the match nsalnst fJrnfton be awarded to them on the ground Hint Emlrnll, n member of the Grafton fifths, was a registered member of lliu Nor;u Stinrc Clnb. was unbeltl by the .Junior Board. However, the League decided to reverse this decision. Iv view of the fact that linrlmll was not a playing member of the Shore Club, and also because the protest was not lodged la accordance with the rules. Knforcins the Rules.—The chairman rcpnrtcil tliat the referees had been instructed to strictly enforce the rule requiring the attacking- player to stjiml clear of an opponent when the latter was playing the ball. Should he not do so, he should be penalised. The chairman remarked that there hud been a notable improvement in last Saturday's play in connection with tills rule. The application ror the removal of Mnckay's disqualification was further discussed, and it was resolved to leave the sentence as it was. Presentation. — Private Shauehnessy the former secretary of the Snnnyslde Club, nnd of the Junior Advisory Board, who Is on final leave from Trenthnm, was presented with 11 wristlet watch as n token of his service while connected with the game.
