The price of consols was quoted to-day at £74 "2/6. a rise of 7/6 since Friday, when the quotation was £73 15/The sum of £6,150 has been recovered by Mr. A- G. Temple, art expert, from Sir George Donaldson as commission on the sale of pictures to Senator Clark, of America, for £148,000. F. Wootton rode four winners at the Liverpool meeting.
