A great deal would depend on the constitution of the Ministry. If he makes a wise selection he will have a prospect of resisting a want-of-oonfldence motion. The country waa anxious to know the exact line of policy of t_e Government or, land settlement, labour, native lands, an :i mining. If he deals with these-ques-tions in a businesslike way the Government may be able to carry on. Sir Arthur Guinness sad Mr. Cjsigi. were the only members to come South* the others remaining in Wellington.
