BOWRON BROS.' SMASH.

ONE PLEADS GUTLTY. THE OTHER ACQUITTED. LONDON, June 28. The trial began to-day of John A. Bowron and Sidney Bowron, of Bowron Brothers, Bermondsey, whose failure was announced some time ago, and Thomas Knight, an employee of the firm for 20 years, on the charge of conspiring to defraud Messrs. Booth and Co., leather merchants, of Bermondsey, of £28,670.

John Bowron pleaded guilty to three counts of the conspiracy charges, and was acquitted on the others.

Sidney Bowron was acquitted, and the case against Knight was adjourned.
