CORONATION FESTIVITIES.
AT HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
A GALA PERFORMANCE
LONDON, June 28. The gala performance at His Majesty's Theatre last evening included the Royal guests, various ambassadors, members of the Cabinet, Sir Joseph and Lady Ward, Mr. and Mrs. Fisher, and other colonials, and several Indian princes. The theatre was decorated with red roses, in festoons, amid natural foliage. Mr. Forbes Robertson delivered Mr. Owen Seaman's prologue of welcome. Three hundred of the most prominent actors and actresses played scenes from the "Merry Wives of Windsor." A thousand colonial troops, including the New Zealandcrs, visited Windsor, Lord Cheylesmore, formerly of the Grenadier Guards, commanding them.
