A MADAGASCAR CONCESSION.

" QUEER » SITED FOR FRAUD.

LONDON* March 5

In the case of William Burdett, a cab proprietor, who is suing Mr. and Mrs. Home on the grounds that he was defrauded o* £3590 in connection with a tea million sterling land concession in Madagascar, evidence was given to show that Home was separated from his wife. He declared he was not connected with the scheme.

Mrs. Home did not appear in Court. Lady Blount, who is interested in the concessions, afterwards denounced the scheme, unearthing a mysterious personage named Bunn, described ac the original possessor of the concession, who turned out to be a street pedlar instead of the owner of millions.
