FILIPINO SEAMEN.

MELBOURNE, November 29. A crew of 45 Filipinos have arrived at Sydney en route for Melbourne to join the steamer Papanui, which the Marine Board recently stopped from proceeding to sea until certain repairs which were deemed necessary had been carried out. Lately steps have been taken by the owners of the Papanui to make her seaworthy. Interesting developments are expected when the Filipinos reach Melbourne.
