VICTORIA BEATS SOUTH AUSTRALIA.
MELBOURNE, November 29. The inter-State cricket match between South Australia and Victoria was concluded to-day, the Victorians winning by an innings and 87 runs. South Australia's second innings totalled 284, Crawford 24, S. Hill 42, L. Hill 51, and Whitty not out 19 being the chief scorers. Kenny secured the fine average of five wickets for 49 runs, and Layer three for 112.
