On the occasion of his last appearaK? in the Waihi court as magistrate and warden. Mr. R. S. Bu.-h was tendered this afternoon a va-ledietory by the mayor and members of the local bar. representatives, of mining companies, and citizens. Mr. Bush has held ofiice as warden of the Hauraki mining district since IS9o. and has been in the Government service 38 years, and a magistrate 35 years. Cordial expressions of good feeling were spoken on both sides.
