In an interview with. Mr. John McLeod regarding Oddfellows and 1 their organisation published on Saturday, two errors occurred in figures which make an important difference in the statistics regarding the orders to which they refer. In the case of the M.U. Order, 73 lodges appeared , instead of 173. the first numeral having been dropped. In respect to the National Order, in a similar manner the dropping of a final cypher gave the total membership as 42 instead of 420. A Press Association telegram states that Mr. Gilbert Anderson, formerly manager of the Christchurch Meat Com* pany, now in London, has been appointed to represent New Zealand at the Freezing Congress, ta be held jn Parjs. lfcl v
