, HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. Thorp was a large attendance at His Majesty's Theatre on Saturday evening, when Carter the Magician gave another of his mystifying entertainments. T.cTv v.as scarcely standing room in the i),i:r:i House on Saturday night, when FjiWa Vaudeville and Musical t omeJy l omp&ny submitted the usual weekly change of programme. Every part of vhe tceatrp was packed, and the waUs were, lined with people unable to ob-1 tain seats. Many appreciable items are included in the programme. Davy's Royal Marionettes made their reappearance, and the remarkable mechanical feats., worked into the most ludicrous of comedy acts, fairly convulsed the audience with laughter. Williams and Bonetta presented a new musical sketch in which they scored a triumph, and their final exit was a well thought out culmination to a clever act. Miss Eva Lee won a. well-deserved encore for her coon songs, and the piccaninny chorus was followed by prolonged applause. A jyusical treat was supplied by the Crome trio, and their mastery of innumerable instruments was a matter for general commfindation. The i'ranklins made a hit with their musical medley, and their sketch work \tas good. .No end of fun was created by the Banvards, who worked some clever acrobatic feats into their comedy act. Mr. Itud JPeter- ! son continues to merit the approval of Opera House patrons, and is invariably recalled. .As a comedian, Mr. Tod. (Jadloi way has established himself a favourite, I and his stock of comic songs is apparI ently inexhaustible. Miss Connie Solo- ! man received a well-deserved encore for j her singing and dancing, wbile Miss Jennie Johnstone met with an imperative encore. The biograph pictures terminated a really excellent performance.
