TEN YEARS AND THREE FLOGGINGS.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)! HOKITIKA, this day. At the Supreme Court to-day Mr Justice Edwards sentenced R. Raymond, alias Lawson, a man who had pleaded guilty to attempted rape on a married woman in the street at Westport, to ten years' hard labour and three floggings, each of twenty lashes.
