I . — '. SHAREMARKET. Business was dull on the Exchange today as far as mining stocks were concerned, although a fair-sized parcel ot Tairua Broken Hill shares changed hands at 1/10, while May Queens again sold at 3/1. Crowns were easier, being sold at 5/8, and Talisman Consolidated shares were also sold at 15/. Investment stocks showed little change, with the exception that Bank of New Zealands showed a further advance, being sold at 138/6. South British Insurances also rose, sales j being reported at 130/.
