WAIHI RETURN.
ANOTHER RECORD YIELD. £58,240 FROM 24,759 TONS. For the last three months the Waihi mine has steadily been establishing records, each return beating the former one. The yield for the month of October, however, eclipses all former ones by £1060, the total being £58,240 from 24,759 tons of ore. This brings up the total output tc date to £4,383,963, of which £1,802,896 has bean paid in dividends. The detailed returns are as follows: From 1890 to December, 1904.. .£3,837,208 Period ending— January 28, 1905, 21,400 tons 44,516 February 25, 1905, 23,076 tons 53,524 March 25, 1905, 22,453 tons .. 57,056 April 22, 1905, 21,778 tons .. 55,695 May 20, 1905, 22,048 tons .... 53,930 June 17, 1905, 23,084 tons.... 54,600 July 15, 1905, 23,237 tone.... 55,470 August 12, 1905, 24,637 tons.. 56,474 September, 1905, 24,178 tons.. 57.180 October, 24,178 tons 68,240 Total to date £4,383,953 Total dividends £1,802,896 MINERALS, LTD. The mine superintendent reports by telegram that the wash-up for the week ending Saturday yielded 30oz. of alluvial gold from 60 loads, which waa sold for £117 12/6. He has now commenced blocking west, and reports good-ground ahead.
