ARREST OF AN ENGLISH SOLICITOR. SYDNEY, August 9. John Frederick Murray, who, it is alleged, is an absconding solicitor from Bristol, England, has been arrested here. He is charged with embezzling £750 trust money. He admits his identity, and says he arrived in Sydney six months ago. NEW SOUTH WALES ELECTIONS. (Received 10.24 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The Liberals secured 207,101 voles, Labour 88,047, Ministerialists 76,401, and Independents 19,160.
