VETERANS' HOME.
A successful social was held in the East Tamaki Hull on Friday. 20th inst., in .'lid of the Veterans' Ilouio bazaar, but owing to the inclemency of the weather the crowd was not as huge as was Mtppct-Jd. The East Tamaki Glee Club supplied excellent dance music, und a very enjoyable evening was speu , . During the evening songs were rendered by Messrs Hugh Absolum. Fairbuni :iud Cunnold, and these were greatly appreciated. Miss E. Harris acted aw accompanist. 1
