REMUERA ROAD BOARD.

The monthly meeting of the Remiiera Road Board was held on Friday. The flon. E. Mitchelson (<;hainiian) reported that he had made arrangements with Mr Mesteyer to go round the district with a view to his preparing a report on the drainage question. Mr P. M. Hansen forwarded plans for the construction and poles of the tramway line to Victoria Avenue. The Board approved of the poles (wooden side poles and brackets), and the question of the construction plans was referred- to Mr Parker and the engineer. It was decided to draw the attention of the Government to the fact that the Itemuera district had a large frontage to the harbour, and was not included in the constituent districts. It. was decided to construct. a culvert at Greenland by April next, to carry off the storm water.
