POLLARD'S OPERA COMPANY.
The Pollard Opera Company open a return season at the Opera House on Saturday next, 18th inst. The opening niece will be "The Messenger Boy," a musical comedy that ran for over two years at the Gaiety Theatre, London, and is still being played in the provinces. Wherever the Pollards have staged it in New Zealand it has proved a strong source of attraction. There are no less than 18 distinct characters, and all the available principals belonging to the Pollard Co. are brought into requisition. The box plan will be opened at Wildman. Lyell, and Arey's on Tuesday morning.
