AMUSEMENTS.

DIX'S GAIETY COMPANY.

The City Hall was largely attended last evening and the programme was greeted with hearty approval. This evening a complete change of programme will be made, and Callahan and Mack will make their first appearance.

"In the Old Neighbourhood" is said by the Melbourne Press to be quite superior to anything of the kind previously seen in that town. One. Melbourne paper to hand says "Callahan and Mack" are not to be surpassed in Europe or America, and certainly never equalled in Australia. Their methods are said to be so original, artistic and true to nature as to compel admiration from all audiences. To-night will also be a change of programme, and the farewell appearance of Miss Olive Lenton and Mr Geo. Dean and Miss Ethel Gwynne.
