AMY CASTLES' CONCERTS.

Miss Amy Castles, the gifted young Victorian singer, who gives two concerts in Auckland next vteek, arrived from the South this morning via New Plymouth by the Takapuna. Miss Castles, who is accompanied by her mother and sister, was met at Onehunga by the Rev. Father Patterson, who accompanied the visitors to town. Before proceeding to the Star Hotel, where she will be during her stay in Auckland, Miss Castles paid a visit to His Lordship Bishop Lenihan. The members of the concert company assisting Miss Amy Castles, namely, Signor Dani (tenor), Miss Una Bourne (pianist), Miss Maud Dalrymple (contralto), Miss Nora McKay (violinist), and Mr R. Needham (baritone), also arrived by the Takapuna to-day, and are staying at the Central Hotel. The company gives tow concerts—on Monday and Wednesday next.
