PUNI.
On Thursday last at Puni School a farewell social was given to Mr and Mrs W. Neill and family, who are leaving the district. During the evening songs and recitations were given by Messrs Pllldngton, Douglas, T. Burgress, Miss M Bilkey, Mrs D. Blake, Mrs Pilkingtonand dancing was kept up till morning. At the close the company joined in singing "Auld Lang Syne," and wishing Mr and Mrs Neill God-speed.
