DEVONPORT.

The proclamation of King Edward VII. was made in the Dev.onp;ort borough by the Mayor, Mr .1. j. :Vlacky in the presence of a- number of residents. Standing by ihe three lamps in front-of the [sorough Council Chambers Mr Maeky read the formal proclamation, which was received wiTTi cheering-. The Devonport ISrass Hand was in attendance and played "God Save the King," afler which three cheers were given for King Edward NIL
