WAIHI RESIDENCE SITES.

(To the Editor.)

Sir,—A number of agitators are gonig to make Waihi the model city of the world. They are going to compel the Government to compel every man to reside on his own section; and if he has- not got one. and his neighbour happens to have two, one of them is to be taken from him and given to the man wlio hath none. A grand Biblical injunction, is it not? They arc also going to compel the mine owners not to let or lease their reserves. The mine owners are to drive away all squatters therefrom. So that il any new arrivals turn up, there is no abiding place for them. Nobody will be allowed to build any houses, but the one they are to live in, on their section. Consequently ■<if the now arrivals cannot bring their own houses with them in their swags, what on earth are they to do when they and their wives and families arrive here.—l am, etc.. IMPOSSIBLE.
