The Ponsonby Naval Artillery paraded at the Drill Hall last evening for Inspection by Lt.-Col. Banka, Officer-Command-ing the District. There was a.splendid muster, under Lt.-Commajider Patterson. After, the Inspection the corps was taken for a march-out. V

At a meeting lield at Kawhla last Saturday about forty men signified their Intention of joining the Mounted Rifle Corps which It was proposed to form in the district. Another flfty names were handed In as representing probable members. Another meeting has been called for the 11th inst.
