MOUNT EDEN BOWLING CLUB,
A concert In connection with the Mount Eden Bowling Club was held last night in St. Barnabas' Hall. There was a. good attendance, and everything1 passed off well. A number of the Items were encored. Father Paterson exhibited and manipulated his Edison's concert grand, the selections being "Rocked In the Cradle of the Deep," "Stars and Stripes March," "Her Papa Was There" (comlo), duo from "H.M.s. Pinafore," a banjo solo, and "The Anvil Chorus." Father Paterson sang "Father O'Flynn" and "I'm* Not Myself at All," to the great delight of the audience. Mr A. L. Edwards received a re-call for his singing of the tuneful solo. "Beauty's Eyes" and responded with "My Mary." Mr Chas. Klsallng sang "The Outpost's Vigil" and as an encore "The Young Brigade." Other Items given were as follows:—Overture, "Les Diademe," Everton Orchestra; song, "The British Ensign," Mr "Glenister; song, "Flow, Gently Flow," Mrs C. B. Stone; recitation, "Tommy's' Opinion of the Naval Brigade" (encored), Mr W. B. Eyre; song, "For All Eternity," Miss Amy Wrlgley (encored); violin solo, Herr Kreutzer; waltz, "Mimosa" (Geisha), Everton Orchestra; comic sketch, Mr R. Eagleton (encored); pianoforte solo, Mr Francis; song, "The King's Own," Miss Conway. Mr J. P. Hooton acted as accompanist.
