\ l General lan Hamilton captured 17 Boers at Megalies. They declared that they received only soft-nosed Bullets. The consequence is that the wounds received by the British during the fight are serious.
Lord Roberts is remonstrating with Commandant Louis Botha for allowing the use of soft-nosed bullets.
