LONDON, August 4
1 Boers derailed and burned a train at Honingspruit, 18 miles north of Kroonstad, though the train was* flying the Stars and Stripes, as the 'American Consul-General for South 'Africa, Mr J. G. Stowe, was a passenger. f
After derailing the train ths Boers captured 40 British, whom ihey subsequently liberated. ,

General Bundle, in pursuing the wreckers of the train at Honingfipruit, had three killed and several bounded.
The British the Boers captured in the train were, liberated at the repest of Mr J. G.'Stowe, American Consul-General, who was a passenger.
