In another column Mr Anderson, of the loe.il Talisman Committee, requests Talisman shareholders who arc opposed to au amalgamation of the Talisman and Woodstock companies, to call at the office of Fenwiek and Anderson, Stock Exchange, and sign power of attorney to be sent to Loiv don by outgoing mail. Tlie committee who individually arc large holders of Talisman shares, consider an amalgamation with the Woodstock would be very detrimental to fh<c interests of Talisman shareholders, and they have already sent to London powers or attorney representing1 over 40,000 shares.
