PROGRESS-CASTLE ROCK.
An extraordinary meeting' of shareholders in the Progress-Castle Rock Co. is to he held on April 10 for the purpose of authorising the directors to purchase the Matawai G. M. Co.'s property for 9.525 shares, 1o be issued as pnid'up to 1/3 J. To do this it will be necessary to issue 10,0UU new shares at ?</ each.* Cleaning- up at the Pro-gress-Castle Rock battery is expected to take place early in April.
