KOPOTOUAKI.

This is the name given to a property consisting of 252 acres of freehold, situated on ihe. coast about 4 miles from Coromandrl, on what is known a. Kopotouaki Bay. The property is admirably situated for economical mining-, the ground rising- from ihe hea level gradually until it reaches 400 ft. The title being under t,he old Act operations will not be hampered by mining regulations. The are has hitherto been so tightly held by private owners that practically no mining operations havet been done on a large scale on the ground, Reports by Mr E. J. Dunn and Dr. Black point to the Kopouataki property being well worth the investment of capital with a view to systematic prospecting and development. Dr. Black, after giving results of assays adds, "The property as a mining one is of very high value."
