AUCKLAND YACHT CLUB,

The annual smolpe concert of the Auckland Yacht Club was held on Saturday evening in the Masonic Hall, Princes-street, and was largely attended. The interior of the hall was very appropriately decorated in nautical style. Mr John Wiseman presided. •An excellent musical programme was I provided, those who contributed vocal and instrumental numbers including Messrs Windsor, Miller, H. Winkelinan, A. G. Partridge, Rowe, A, A. I Partridge, McFarlane, W. A. Harvey, |A. L. Edwards, Wynyard-Joas, George i Reid, W. George, F. Amodeo, Dr. Egan, and "Mademoiselle Wilma." The Waiata Glee Club also sang some very acceptable part songs. Mr W. J. Napier, who was one of the guests present, made a few congratulatory remarks, and conveyed to the Club greetings from the late Commodore of the Wellington Club (Mr E. W. Mills). Mr Henry Winkelman played the accompaniments throughout, and at the close was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. The gathering was concluded with the singing of "Auld Lang Syne" and cheers for the Commodore.
