N.Z. EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE.
The annual meeting of the Auckland Branch of the X.Z. Educational Institute was held on June 30.
The election of officers resulted: — President, Mr T. U: Wells (unopposeed); vice-presidents, Messrs Arm* strong and Newton; secretary, Mr S. Hay Ferguson; treasurer, Mr C. W. Clarke; committee, Messrs E. B. Ileriot, W. N. Mclntosh. F. J. Ohlson, W. R. C. Walker, J. Christie, G. W. Murray, D. D. Metge, and Misses Shrewsbury, Mcllhone and Newman. A letter was received from Mr J. L. Scott (Parnell), withdrawing from all nominations.
A very hearty vote of thanks was pased to the outgoing president (Mr R. D. Stewart) and secretary (Mr W. R. C. Walker) for their services in the past.
