KUAOTUNU.
BATTERY AT MERCURY BAY. The tender of A. and G. Price for the construction of a, three stamper battery- to be used as a prospecting plant at Mercury Bay has been accepted by the Government. JUNO. A party of tributes in the Juno mine, Kuaotunu, have, it is stated, divided £200 amongst them as the result of about three months work in this mine. KAPAI VERMONT. At a sale held on July 4 by the S.M. Court bailiff in execution of tho judgment D. G. MacDonnell v. Kapai Vermont G.M. Co., Ltd., the company's remaining assets at Kuaotunu were offered. These consisted of thirteen cases of machinery connected with the new Krtipp mill, and the lot was purchased by Mr J. W. McCoy for £100.
