WAIKATO AMATEUR SPORTS.

• ' HAMILTON, this day. Bad weather completely spoiled attend-ance-at .Saturday's sports. The new banked. cycling trafck was in good condition, more especially when one considers that rain fell, heavily during the first cycle race. The Aucklanders had a good time, Crozier winning a double, while Winks won the half-mile Hat and was second in the mile and third in the quarter. The following are the results : — Three Mile Bicycle.—C. L. Innes, 1; W. King, 2. 100 Yards.—First heat: E. Landl; J. W. Bridgman, 2; W. J. Munro, 3. Second heat: G. Bridgman, 1; W. E. Evans, 2 ; W. Dean, 3. Final: G. Bridgman, 1; J. W. Bridgman, 2; R. Land, 3. J. Lowe won the mile walk in easy fashion from scratch. . .

Five Mile Bicycle.—J. Crozier, 1; J. Drury, 2; F. Hobbs, 3. Won easily. Half-mile Flat.—J. W. Winks, 1; A. Ramsay, 2 ; R. Livingstone, 3. Costume Slow Bicycle Race. —Won by F. Hobbs.

Two Mile Bicycle.—J. Crozier, 1; H. A. Coates, 2 ; C. L". Innes, 3.

300 Yards Bracelet.—E. Bell and W. E. Evans ran a dead heat; J. TV. Bridgman, 3. In the run off Evans won by a couple of yards. . One Mile Flat.—G. B. Beere (scratch), 1; J. W. Winks, 25yds, 2. Only two finished. Won by 10 yards. Ten Mile Bicycle Race. —J. Drury, 1; H. A. Coates, 2; J. Crozier, 3.

Crozier must have won the first race (Three Mile Bicycle) had not his saddle come off after he had gone two-thirds of the distance.
