CHRISTCHURCH, this day.
The Metropolitan Cycle Show is admirable. All the Christchnrch makers are represented, besides exhibitors from Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin, and elsewhere. Most of the exhibitors have expensively and elaborated fitted up their stalls. The exhibition is lighted by electricity throughout.
The relay ride from the Bluff to Christchurch finished at 3.25 p.m. to-day, about 400 miles having been done in 24 hours 25 minutes.

SYDNEY, November 7.
The Wheelmen Carnival has concluded. Owing to the largeness of the fields several mishaps took place, Hayes sustaining coiicussion of the brain, while Tabutt, the Victorian crack, was badly cut about the knee, and Ainwright, the English champion, was severely bruised. The results are :—
Hampden Plate: Body, scratch, 1; Congdon, 70yds, 2. Time, 2min 24 l-sth 66C Sydney Wheel Race: Elliott, 145 yds, 1; Prowse, 75yds, 2; Clinton, 70yds, 3. Time, 4min"<lo 4-sth sec. Ten Mile Scratch Race: Megson 1, Body 2, Mutton and Chapman (dead heat) 3. Time, 26min 45sec. Paced Tournament: Green, of England, beat Walne, of Queensland. Time, llmin 26Asec. Platt Betts, from a flying start, rode an exhibition iive miles.
