Tha d^trecbora yesterday accepted the following offer for the above property :— New company to be formed with a capital bf £175,000 in £1 shares. Working capital £30,000, vendors to receive 50,000 sharoa nets. The purchasers guarnnteo the flotation in London in ono month from date, or will forfeifc£soo. TAIRUA PROPRIETARY. A meeting of shareholders in the Tairua Proprietury Syndicate wat beld at tho officen'ol Mr W. Clark yesterday afternoon, for the purpose of forming a couapaay. Mr W. R. Bloomfield was voted to the chair. It was agreed to form a company under the no-liability section of tha Act, to be callod hhe Tairua Proprietary Goldmining Company, with a capUal of £24,000 in 96,000 shares of 5s each, nil paid up, 4,800 eharee bo bo reaerved. The firab directors t-lecbed were Mossra E. W, Alwon, T, Mohoney, W. R, Bloomfield, A. Wrighb and Capbain Amodeo. Appointmenta were made as follows :—Legal manager, Mr W. Clarke; solicitors, Messrs Hill and Mahony ; auditor, Mr F. L. Prime ; and bankers, ■National Bank.
THE SHAREBIARKET.
The week closed with a strong market) for mining & bock generally, and the average of prices is higher than it was last Saturday. Crown shares today sold as high as 535, white Para Consolidateds eold| up ts 5s Bd, with further buyers at the saiae rate and no sellers under 6*. Monnataiari shares reached 14s 6d, and Sheridans sold at Is 7d. Owharoas cold and were still wanted at 4a. Porfcaea shares continue' to advance, and sold to-day as high as Is lid. - Talisman Extenders were a shade easier, sales being made at 3s 2d and again ab 2s lid. Banker's Hill shares were in demand, sales being made at 9s and .9s 3d. Hauraki North paid up shares'advanced to 5s 2d. New Golcondae and Progress-Castle Rocks both advanced to Is lid. Welcome Find shares bad another run, and after touching 6s sold at 5s 6d. There was a good all-round demand for Kuaotunu stocks.
