£11,221 FOR THE MONTH.

The return to hand from the Waihi Company shows a dacided improvement upon the previous month's yield. During the four weeks ending June 20th 2,910 tons of ore were treated for a yield of bullion valued ab £11,221, an average of practically £3 17s ljd per ton, the number of stamps working during the month being 82 head, as against 81 in May. The previous month's average value per ton was £3 9s 9£d.
