AUCKLAND FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION.
The annual mooting of the Auckland Football Association was held last evening ab, the Occidental Hotel, Mr A. Heather, President, being in the chair. The following officers were elected :—Patron, His Excellency the Governor, Lord Glasgow ; vice-patron, His Worship the Mayor, Mr J. J. Holland ; president, Mr A. Heather; vice-Presidents, Messrs H. Rees George, F« Lawry, M.H.R., L. Ehrenfried, V. E. Rice, J. L. Wilson, H. Brett, H. E. Partridge. Moas Davis, C. C. Dacre, J. P. Stevenson, H. H. Hoffmann, Dr. Roberbs, Dr. J. L. Campbell, Dr. Eraon : secretary and treasurer, Mr A, H. Grigg ; auditor, Mr F. W.. Thomas ; delegate to New Zealand Association, Mr ■). P. Gibbons. A vote of thanks was accorded to Mr C. C. Dacre, the Secretary, for his efforts on behalf of the grame during the last) five years, and also to Mr Reea George for his endeavours in pro-" moting the success of the tournament held. last season ab Epsom. The Secretary waa. instructed to convey the thanks of ths Association to the Rugby Union tor the usa of Potter's Paddock for bhe tournament.. With a view to encouraging the Association, game amongst scholars attending the> public school?, ib was decided to offer a cup for competition. The annual reporfe (which referred to the various cup matches held last season, and alao to the tournament) and the balance-sheet (which showed a credib balance of £8) were read and. adopted, and the meeting closed with a, hearty recognition of the unceasing efforts of the President to further the interests oS the game.
