VOLUNTEER PARADES.
The volunteer parades re-commence on Friday next. By district orders the Auckland Naval Artillery are ordered to assemble ab half pasb six o'clock ab the back of the Drill-shed for daylight parade. The following corps will also assemble for daylight parades ab half past six o'clock on the dates mentioned :—Ponsonby Naval Artillery, Monday, 14th ; Devonport Torpedo Volunteers, Wednesday, €3rd ; •• A " Battery Artillery, Thursday, 17bh; Victoria Rifles, Tuesday, 15th; Auckland City Rifles, Tuesday, 15th. A class of instruction for officers and non-commissioned officers, to be conducted by the adjutant, will be held every Thursday evening ab the officers' room, Drill-shed, at 8 o'clock, to commence on Thursday next. Colonel Ooring's lecbure on " Gunnery " bakes place on Monday, 21at instant; and his lecture on " Outpost Duty," at the same place and hour, on Tuesday, 22nd instant. The "A " Battery Artillery will parade at Narrow Neck, North Shore, at 3 p.m. on Saturday, 19th instant.
