G. W. Binney and Sons' Report.— Wool, hides, skins, etc. : On Tuesday, hido3 advanced under brisk competition privately, and at auction wo sold 900 during the week ; extra prime picked so.ld up to 6*d. As fair market value we quote : Extra stout ox, 4Jd to 4;jd ; stout, 3ijd to 4d ; medium, 3d to 3Jd ; steer, 2Ad to 2«d ; clean good cow, 2£d to 2Jd ; ordinary average, 2d ; wet and sloppy, l|d to l;]d ; Uip, 1-Jsd to 2£d ; calf, 4d to o|d; damaged. \d to IJd per lb. Heavy stout are wanted. Large thin ox are plentiful. Calf are in short supply, also cow hides. Sheepskins : A few fullwoolled skins sold at 4a to 4s 5d ; salted pelts, firsts, Is 2d to Is 3d ; seconds, 10d to Is ; Email, Sd to od. Lamb's, large, Is 6d to Is 9d ; small, 9d to Is 3d; sun-dried, 4d to Is each. Wool: Small parcels of fleece, 6d to 7d ; pieces, 3d to 5d per lb. Our next wool sale will be hold on the 27th inst. Tallow: No change to report. Bones: £4 15s to £5 per ton.
